Since our inception in 1954, our focus has consistently remained on serving the paper merchant community with the broadest range of products, services, and competitive prices. We like inventory. The trend in our industry is that no one wants inventory. Mills want longer production runs less often to enhance productivity. Merchants and end users want just in time delivery to increase turns and decrease carrying costs. We understand your concerns and our business model addresses your needs. The paper you need is in stock at our facility waiting for your order. We understand that our fit in the supply chain is having what customers need, when they need it.

We invest in capabilities. We are continually adding new and better equipment to serve our customers more efficiently and with higher quality products. We have invested millions of dollars in slitting, sheeting, and packaging equipment. We offer slitting in widths up to 150 inches and diameters to 60 inches. Our sheeters accommodate sizes up to 96” X 120”. All of our trimming equipment is computer controlled for unparalleled accuracy. Our labeling and packaging lines are new and state of the art to insure that our products are labeled correctly and protected properly to your customer’s door.

We believe that service and reliability still matter. Virtually none of our customers entrust the delivery of their products to the “low bidder of the day”. Your customers expect the same group of professional staff day in and day out operating safe, reliable and well maintained delivery vehicles. Gordon Paper shares that attitude. We deliver most of our merchandise on our fleet of dedicated trucks.

We believe that capable sales and service staff are vital. Gordon Paper fields the largest dedicated sales and service staff in our trading area. Our representatives have an average of over twenty years experience in the paper industry. Since they exclusively represent Gordon Paper, they have the time needed to focus on your needs. Our number one priority is working with customers to train their staffs and to go into the field and solve packaging problems at the end user.

Finally, we believe that a packaging company servicing the paper merchant trade should have a strong moral compass. Gordon Paper is committed to selling 100% through distribution. We do not believe “well everyone sells that type of account directly” is an appropriate answer to a customer. Simply stated, our business is built on customers and our relationship with them, not just today’s order. We also protect known, identifiable business and will only quote competition upon the specific written request of the end user.
